To have a music tab, you have to apply for an artist account first. Follow these steps to get your artist account certified.
- Log in to your TikTok account and go to the profile tab
- Tap the 3 dots on the upper right corner
- Select “TikTok Studio”
- Select “Artist Hub” in the “More tools” section
- Tap the “Apply now” button
- Enter your full artist name to search for the artist profile in the TikTok library
- Find the correct artist profile for you and tap the “Claim” button
- Log in into the streaming platform or music distribution platform you use and take screenshots including the profile editing buttons to show you are the owner of the account. Please ensure the screenshot displays the artist name, album titles and/or track titles in the screenshots.
- Tap the “Submit” button
- Congratulations! Your application has been submitted successfully and you will get feedback within 30 days. The Music Tab and Artist Tag will be displayed on your profile once your request has been approved.
How to pin songs in Music Tab?
- Go to your Music Tab
- Select the “pin” icon next to the song or search for the song you want to pin
- Select the “pin” icon next to the song
- Congratulations, you have pinned the song successfully!
How to add songs to Music Tab?
- If you find any of your songs missing from your Music Tab, please report via the webform:
- Select “Music Tab”
- Select “Add songs to the music tab”
- Fill in the required info and submit
How to remove songs from my Music Tab?
- Log in to your TikTok account
- Go to your profile
- Go to the Music Tab on your profile
- Tap the 3 dots on top of Music Tab
- Select the “Report” button next to the song
- Choose the songs that you would like to remove
- Click the “Submit” button
- Congratulations! Your request has been submitted successfully and will be processed within 7 working days.
If you find the songs are still on your Music Tab over 7 working days, please report via the webform:
- Select “Music Tab”
- Select “Remove songs from the music tab”
- Fill in the required info and submit
